Merry Christmas!
Dear Family & Friends,
During this joyous season of Christmas, we have been overwhelmed with love and grace, despite the suffering that Sebastian is experiencing physically and the agony that we feel seeing him this way.
Medical Update
At the beginning of December, we made the decision to stop chemotherapy that required hospitalization because the side effects began to be too severe. At the same time, we decided to go with a chemo that is given by mouth. We saw very little if any relief from pain or decrease in the activity of the disease so at this time, we are not giving him any type of treatment other than a morphine pump that administers a continual dose of pain medication. We have had to regularly increase the amount of morphine that he is getting because he is in so much pain.
The pain is coming from a variety of sources. The most obvious to us is his large belly, a tumor mass around his tailbone and probably many, many more spots throughout his body.

consisted of chocolate milk, the center of an Oreo cookie and
the cheese from a snack pack.
